Question: What are the acceptance and rejection rates of different schools according to tm (2007-2010 data) - by field?
Note: Click on top of column to sort. Initially sorted by number applied in each field. ".*" is a wildcard which looks at every field, but the results ofr all fields is included in each table as well.
For fields, I just look in the text after the applicants mentions their (research) interests, and see if they put any of the following, which should be recognized as short forms of a relatively accepted set of popular fields in economics. Note that some of the fields don't link to tables, for these no school had at least 5 applicants. Data is pooled across all years. Let me know if I should group fields or add something or whatever.
